Firstly, we hope you and your family are in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.
With renewed focus on our health- we believe it is more important than ever to provide preventative care and treatment so your body can stay healthy and fight infections. We are so very pleased to announce that we are able to serve you!
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. You may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and our team safe.
Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow these agencies so we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
Here are some changes to expect in the way we provide care:
- Confirmation Call Screening: Our team will call prior to your visit to go over screening questions to evaluate your risk of COVID-19. You will be asked these questions again at your visit.
- No Wait- Waiting Room and Curbside Check In: The most notable change is our No Wait-Waiting Room made possible through curbside check in. Our team requests that when you arrive for your appointment- please call the office in order to check in. Our administrative team will go through a few questions to make your visit with us more efficient.
- Hand Sanitizer available upon entry and limited seating: We will provide an opportunity to sanitize your hands and request you use it. Additionally, limiting seating will support less patients in the waiting room. You may be requested to wait in your vehicle for a time until the waiting room can support social distancing.
- Changes to our team and environment: You will notice that all of our team has lovely eyes. We will all be wearing personal protective equipment that covers up everything excluding our pretty peepers. We recognize that this is unusual- but like most things in life- we will adapt.
- Rescheduling patients Your visit time may be modified to limit patients in the community areas, streamline your appointment, and maximize your time. Please be patient with our team.

- Know your risk level: If you are positive for any of the following-recognize that you are at an elevated risk and reschedule your appointment out for 14 days
- >100.4 degrees
- Have you tested positive for COVID-19?
- Have you been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
- Have you travelled in the last 2 weeks?
- If yes was it outside the US?
- If it was within the US- did you travel by air, train, or bus?
- Are you experiencing any respiratory symptoms such as Fever, Sore Throat, Cough or Shortness of Breath?
- Have you lost your sense of smell or taste?
- Have you noticed in stomach problems such as nausea or diarrhea?
- Limit your friends and family at appointments if possible.
- Call our office when you park for curbside check in
- Please return our calls and provide honest answers to our healthcare professionals- it’s new but it’s necessary.
